LEAVE IT BEHIND!

LEAVE IT BEHIND!

We have entered into another year, 2016. It was so quick that 365 days passed away in a blink of an eye.  Let us thank Jesus for another year of setbacks and victories, for the joy that came and sorrow he took away and for the breakthroughs that happened. Nothing is inevitable.
We are at the dawn of another year. So let me start by saying – never hold on to what you have lost. Instead hold on what you are going to achieve. In the year 2015, you may have had positive or a negative experiences. You may have suffered losses or you may have gained a fortune. But come what may, God has always said that he will deliver you from the snare of the Fowler(Psalm 91). It is never easy to forget what causes pain in our lives. But the best way to deal with such pain is remembering God’s love. It always endures. Jesus took all your burdens to the cross and it will  stay there forever. You may have sinned. But Jesus still loves the same way we He saw you the very first day He made you. He is never negligent. He is just patiently waiting for you to come aboard. You may have a past that you never want to recollect. You would have desperately wanted it to leave your conscience. Submit it to Jesus. Leave it behind. And when you step into the new year, let the love of Christ move you.

YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN

“See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.” – Isaiah 49:16. These are the very words that God spoke through Isaiah. Look through it one more time. If you want to do it again, feel free to do so. You are never just a name. God made you for a purpose so that you could stand for him. As you enter into 2016, say this – I am a prince of the Almighty. I am free from all my problems. The problems that made you will be the ones that mold you.
Cross the bridge by leaving your burdens behind. You have crossed into the next year. Now the past is what you never need. You only need to reflect on your future. If you keep thinking about the past, then that is what you will keep on thinking and it will never end.
Sometimes, the best way to explain is to share experiences. At a young age, God taught me not to dig back what is gone. Instead he keeps on showing me that there is hope.
Jeremiah 29:11 –  For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
The verse that you read above is what God showed me a few years ago. It was never just a verse. It was a promise. God made me realize that he is still opening new paths. All the time, I just kept on reading these verses but the purpose for which God showed the verse dawned later on. But it is still promise. And till the end it stays forever, no matter what comes in front of you.
Every year we contemplate on how to bury the past. Let’s take a vow that we are going to make God first throughout this year. Let it happen this 2016. Make it happen!
