“But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.” – Psalms 33:11
We may think “Oh! There are no more miracles anymore. God has stopped hearing our prayers.” The Bible says God’s plans are firm. Abraham was promised that his descendants would last forever. And finally it came to be true. Israel was never a nation until 1948 when they were formally declared as the State of Israel. And here they are, resurfacing from the ashes, strong again and mighty. It was a promise made years ago because Abraham honored the Lord.
I recall the verses from Ezekiel 37:
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’
The dry bones were infused with breath and they woke up to be an army of soldiers. The circumstances in your life might be such that you may feel like to give up but God has a plan. He is taking away the dryness and causing you to rise up like a bold soldier. Had God not acted, Israel would have strayed away and be lost in history forever. As he promised, so did he act. They were given a land of honey and milk. No desert was an obstacle before them. God still had compassion on them.
God has compassion on all those who love him. Circumstances may prove you to disbelieve in God but time is everything. He has a plan in all that he does.
