“He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows.”- Isaiah 30:23
We have a lot to learn from Israel. From how they were a nation of stubborn people and how the Lord had compassion on them till the time they acknowledged the Lord as their redeemer. They were formed as a nation years later than the promised time. If God had his way, He would have wiped the earth once more of its uncleanliness. But he still had compassion on the ones he promised to save. A promise made to Abraham was a covenant made till the end. And indeed He fulfilled it.
If my deeds were accounted for, I would be unworthy of receiving anything at all. To put my sins to death is not possible by me. But my savior had the compassion to die on the cross for me to redeem my sins. He has now made me worthy of everything. Not just me but you as well. That is the God that we talk about. A God of compassion and mercy, full of unending love.
The fruits of our labour that we receive are God’s mercies. And when it gets multiplied, its an even greater blessing. When God spoke to Israel that he would send the rain, he surely did send it. He never held it back. So will it be for us. If He has spoken that you will receive his blessings, he will never hold it back. He has never held back a promise. Be it your career, marriage or other issues in life, his word will be fulfilled. The Bible says that God is no debtor to anyone. If you believe today that He is going to do great things, then He will surely do it. Faith has the ability to make impossible things possible. Experience it today. Do not wait for tomorrow to heal you.
