“Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” – Acts 13:2

We see the Holy Spirit in action in the book of Acts – how millions got influenced by the power of the Spirit and how even Gentiles had been inspired to receive Christ into their lives in a matter of minutes by the apostles Paul and Barnabas. Paul who lived before as Saul,  was then being used tremendously by the Holy Spirit. Barnabas along with Paul travelled to many parts of the globe, preaching the gospel at synagogues after which people would invite them to preach at their synagogue the next sabbath.

God’s plans and purposes certainly did not stop. The greater part was yet to come. Jesus had promised that once He had resurrected, he would send the Holy Spirit to guide us to walk in the light. Once filled with the Holy Spirit, there was nothing to stop the disciples from doing what they wanted to do anymore. They were completely without boundaries preaching and rejoicing with their fellow believers. Peter, who rejected Jesus three times, is now bolder and stronger than before after being filled with the Spirit. That is how the Spirit changes people from within. Stephen was filled with the Spirit and was a man full of power and grace. And preached the message boldly till his death.

Receiving the Holy Spirit can change you and your life from within. Ask God to bless you with the free gift that is already there for you to receive.
