Spiritual warfare is a battle between spiritual forces who are in constant war since ages, fighting unseen battles since ages for power of mankind and authority over Earth. As soldiers of Christ, we are always at war with the enemy and these spiritual forces that we do not see in the invisible spiritual realm. Every battle we have experienced is not just a result of the actions in our physical world. They occur as result of the battles that are unseen in the spiritual world.

Spiritual warfare is often dealt with in our daily lives as soldiers of Christ. As God’s children, we often encounter many physical and non-physical issues that often come as a result of this unseen war. Mental breakdowns, suicidal thoughts, career problems or even financial bankruptcy may all arise as a result of joining forces with God. For newcomers in Christ, these aren’t situations that keeps spiralling down. Every believer in Christ, who have a relationship with Him, has seen such circumstances atleast once in their life. This isn’t new. This is God showing that He is in control. Just as he created Earth in the beginning, He can do all things because He created everything knowing what happens in the future.

God’s army is all about spreading the gospel and fighting the dark forces that are trying to stop the Good news about the salvation of Christ.

This is exactly what the Bible says in Ephesians 6:12 –

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.”

We fight our battles in prayer. Surrender all your problems today and see your victory will come soon. You may or may not see it today, but it has begun the day you start declaring victory in the name of Jesus.

Spiritual warfare happens till the day we see the Lord. Because we now belong to the army of God.
