Will you live for Jesus today? Is he your number one priority? Is he the Lord of your life? In life, we make plenty of choices. But have we made our decisions with him to guide us through life to make the decisions for us?

We make decisions at every turn, every minute and every hour of the day. And they are complex and sometimes not so much. At times, they feel very heavy so much as if we wish they had just vanished just like that. Instead of the taking the heavy load, we sometimes wish if it could have been handled.

An average adult makes about 35,000 decisions per day. Depending on the individual, it may be less or may be more. Imagine trying yourself to bring a conclusion for at least ten things that may be important to you. It could be chaos. You could be scratching your head trying to find a solution to all the ten problems that are important to you.

When Jesus is at the center of our lives, he takes care of our lives for us. And I mean it. When those time consuming, complex thought processes that could take all your energy is in his hands, he can bring about a change in all that. We have to remind ourselves that he is better at managing things than we are. And things automatically start to get better because he is in control.

Sometimes, God calls you to rest. He takes away those things that could really impact you physically or mentally while giving you time to rest. Just take a moment out of your schedule and stop doing the things that you were doing before for a while. Think about your life, read a book, write a blog or journal your thoughts. This is all part of the process. God just doesn’t want you to work. He also wants you to relax because that is how we retain our energy. Being mentally fit is as important as being physically fit.

Start today by making a decision – make Jesus the Lord of your life. And he will flip your circumstances to surround you with everything that you need to grow.
