“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” – Matthew 7:7
When I was young, I remember asking God for yummy food. That was part of my prayer once in a while. It makes me laugh now as those were the days where I was innocent. As I grew up, my needs changed. My priorities are career related or something else. The Bible reminds me again and again about Matthew 7:7. Ask God anything you need and He opens that door for you to receive it. Ask for wisdom and He gives it. Ask for His blessings and He will shower it. Ask for anything you need and believe it has already been granted. Remember that our God is a God who hears. Psalms 121:4 says He neither sleeps nor slumbers. And there is something to add to it. Faith. Ask in faith and receive in faith. Faith is that one substance which makes prayer, a prayer.
Everything keeps changing but our God never changes. Since the beginning the industrial age, the world began evolving so fast to develop and race to the front in many fields. Countries compete with each other to show their pride. God reminds us He is still there to guide us and to uphold us in our adversities.
May the good Lord be with you today as He accompanies you in all your needs.
