“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” – Jer. 17:7,8. 

Naturally, as humans we become anxious about the setbacks that we face constantly. The Lord continuously reminds us that those who believe in him will never face drought. There may be a little despair but in the end just as the Lord spoke through Jeremiah, we are trees those that stands still even when the wind blows. Our roots are with Christ which means we cannot be uprooted.  The leaves will be green which means we will be nourished constantly with the Word which defends us from all attacks of the enemy that tries to dry us up. The Word alone can keep us withstanding from the unforeseen attacks of the enemy.

Life is never easy but God’s word continuously comforts us with the Word that calms down all anxiousness within. Once the worry has set down, then everything will start to fall in place.
