There are times when we are clueless, trying to figure out what to do with our lives. If you have been there, desperately trying to find out a way out, stay calm because God sees you. He is watching you trying to figure out your next step.
We try to succeed, desperately failing when we think others aren’t failing. When every door ahead of you looks closed, God says I will open the doors for you (Isaiah 45). It may not be the way you imagined but it is exactly the way God sees you succeed. If one door closes, God opens another that is the right one because it may lead to the wrong outcome. He doesn’t want to see you suffer more than you already have.
If you are in a bad situation that you think cannot be overcome or are depressed, I pray that God’s peace will overcome your heart. He has already overcome the world. That means you are a victor already before you were born.
If there is a situation that you feel is impossible to come out of, remember that they are just a simple thing for God. I know that there is nothing God cannot do. And there is nothing in his power that he cannot do to see you succeed.
What to do when you are waiting for your promise?
The key to seeing God’s works in our lives is patience and endurance. The Bible says that God works in mysterious ways. And we cannot we understand half of it until we see the full picture.
Stay focused on him. That will take you where you are supposed to be.
I have seen many people take the wrong decision just because they wanted a quick turnaround in their lives. And they end up worse than before. This is where the Bible asks us to use our wisdom. We need the wisdom to rest than to run. We see this in Isaiah 30:15 –
“For the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel has said this,
In returning [to Me] and rest you shall be saved, In quietness and confident trust is your strength. But you were not willing, And you said, “No! We will flee on horses!” Therefore you will flee [from your enemies]! And [you said], “We will ride on swift horses!” Therefore those who pursue you shall be swift.”
Pray as you wait for your promise. This will strengthen you more. Never give the enemy a chance to wreck your life.
Remember, never go through the wrong door. Wait for his promise and He will lead you through the right one!
